Emine Yılmaz, born in Istanbul, started her paper marbling works in 2003. In 2006, she founded Mavera Art Workshop with her teacher Gülden Gürdamar and her friends. In 2008, she received her paper marbling ijazah (authorisation) and continued her artistic journey. In 2014, she was entitled to receive an Artist Identity Card from Turkish Ministry of Culture. Since 2019, she has been working at Velidedeoğlu Art Workshop. The artist has participated in many exhibitions and won awards in various competitions.
